The last Food Truck Tuesday had us tasting Peruvian flavors, but this month we return to something ingrained in every Texan’s palate: barbecue. In particular, the smokey tastes of Micklethwait Craft Meats. This renovated trailer food truck serves up some pretty serious meats. The Instagram feed alone has a constant feed of mouthwatering photos of brisket, artisanal sausages, sandwiches and pies. Business Insider recently chose Micklethewait as one of Austin’s 24 Coolest Small Businesses and we have to agree. Owner and founder, Thomas Micklthwait began his dream of owning a BBQ joint when he bought the Micklethwait trailer and after a successful Kickstarter campaign he began serving up his carnivorous venture. Micklethwait’s serves up lunch and dinner along with catering options.
