For this week’s installment of Food Truck Tuesdays we are venturing to Llama’s Peruvian Creole. Llama’s serves up authentic Peruvian dishes for lunch, dinner and late night meals in its downtown location. Owner Miguel Barrutia jumped at the opportunity to open Llama’s after many years of craving the homemade dishes of his Peruvian roots. Barrutia teamed up with Chef Julio-Cesar Florez, also a native of Peru, and the pair crafted a menu based upon traditional dishes such as Lomos Saltados. Their menu rests upon tradition, but expands into a myriad of mouthwatering flavors and ingredients relying on great cuts of meat, spices and creative combinations.
